It’s the end of the school year — even for the zoo rangers. But not for long: through an exchange program, the rangers travel to vibrant Africa to help out at a wildlife park, caring for and protecting endangered animals. But when their plane crashes, they end up stranded in the middle of the wilderness — with no phone, no food, and no help. They’re left to face the laws of nature. The rangers quickly discover that life in the wild is very different from life in the zoo. And the dangers don’t stop with the wildlife — even the director of the wildlife park seems to have a dark side. In a desperate attempt to be found, the group splits in two. But when Bionda suddenly disappears, their African journey takes a completely unexpected turn. Now, the rangers have only one option left: to trust each other...

February 2002. An Argentinian mother and her daughter visit Amsterdam during the wedding of prince Willem-Alexander and princess Máxima. She is looking for a miracle, the reappearing of her husband Alejandro, who got lost during the regime. She experiences difficulty as the police don't believe her story. On top of it all her daughter disappears in the crowd. Police officer Felix Bos also has a problem. His girlfriend Min has just heard some bad news. She's going to be evicted from the country. The situation brings Felix into trouble with the police. This is also the day he finds out his mother couldn't have been his mother.

Nine-year-old Tibor has only one friend: his outdated house robot T.I.M. When his father trades his robot in for a newer version Tibor manages to save his friend from dismantlement and undertakes an epic journey to the only person who can repair T.I.M: the mythical robot maker Hector Sammler. The rangers get a surprise visit from their fellow ranger Alwin, who has just returned after spending a year in India. But Alwin hasn’t come back without reason — he needs their help. In India, a herd of elephants has mysteriously disappeared. The rangers don’t hesitate for a moment and travel to India to help find them. Once there, it quickly becomes clear that the elephants have been kidnapped by ivory smugglers. The rangers decide to split into two groups: one heads deep into the jungle to track the elephants, while the other travels to Mumbai to follow the smugglers' trail. In their daring rescue mission, the rangers face not only danger and deception — they also somehow end up in the middle of an actual Bollywood film...

Besides the stray dog Mingus, 11 year old Sophia has no real friends. She is pushed around by the "Beastie boys", a gang of street kids who have built an entire camp in the trees of a junk yard. One day Sophia hears that the yard is ordered to be cut down by Carlow, the mayor. Mingus, who lives in the yard, will be taken away and put to sleep. Sophia is shocked but just then she meets a gypsy, who lends her an old leather ball. For five days only. The ball is alive and may just be able to help her saving the yard. And indeed the ball proves being an amazing character. It makes objects fly and communicates with Sophia through whistling, and successfully attacks Carlow's bodyguard "Sweetlove". Sophia is accepted in the gang. She realises that the ball might chase the mayor's men off the yard. Yet, Sophia discovers that even great magic sometimes has dark sides: when Sophia's new friend Romeo tries to kiss her, the ball grows jealous and turns vicious...
