In a kingdom protected by a magical legacy, young healer Hana is destined to inherit her mother Zora’s powers through a single mystical apple. Drawn to the human world, she encounters Prince Albert, who roams the land in disguise. Captivated, Hana abandons her fate and follows him to the castle. Zuzana is an attractive and likable art student who works alongside her studies because she would like to start a life of her own. Like many young people, she is trying to find what would fulfill her, what she would like to do, find out who she would like to live with. She runs away from one lover in Bratislava to another in Paris, she is at work when she should be at school, she sleeps when she should be at home, she travels the world. She simply often feels two syllables behind. And not just literally when working in dubbing, but figuratively in his own life.

Based on a radio play by Elena Antalova. The original psychological chamber story, centred on the relationship between a mother and daughter condemned to forced cohabitation, in which the wrongs and traumas of the past gradually emerge in the fate of a family marked by a tragic secret, has been expanded in the television version to include a retrospective narrative, capturing the turning points of social change and their impact on the characters and relationships within the family. As the mystery surrounding the tragic death of the youngest daughter is gradually revealed, the dramatic tension and development of the two women's relationships builds suggestively towards the shattering discovery of the truth, the dilemma of punishment and its meaning, and the cathartic reconciliation.
