Venus of Ille (1969)

The figure, sculpted as a tormented woman, becomes an ominous presence during a wedding celebration. When the groom impulsively slips his ring onto the statue’s finger—and cannot remove it—the joyous occasion descends into a nightmarish spiral of superstition, obsession, and the uncanny.
