Empire

This documentary closely follows Jacob Macalalad as he describes his upbringings and his dreams of playing his favourite sport, basketball, as a career. But alongside those dreams and aspirations, follows the reality of leaving home and being able to financially support his goals. Although the hardships of pursuing his passion had gone into a huge slump, he finds a new found passion after being convinced to put together his first basketball club team, Empire. Now, coaching a team and pushing his players to achieve their own dreams, Jacob must find a way to help them realize their goals and give them a foundation for their futures.
