Competitive pigeon racing in New England is featured in this short film that reveals the camaraderie and competition of the niche sport and its participants. As their treasured birds race hundreds of miles night and day, the men of the Braintree Racing Pigeon Club pass the time with chitchat, obsessive stat-keeping and affable trash-talk adorned with a Boston brogue. Director Nellie Kluz's verité portrait briefly immerses the viewer into a menagerie of crowded coops and clubhouses, punctuated with flourishes both artistic and avian.
