However, the connection of times and cultural continuity are under threat - young people are leaving their native places. The film tells about the life of the Nanai through observation of their daily life. Particular attention is paid to the connection of the Nanai with the Amur River, their fishing and hunting. National costumes, dances, and belief in shamanism are shown. The film calls for the appreciation of cultural heritage and strengthening the connection between generations.
