"La Sampaguita" (released in 1910) performed by Banda de la Constabularia Filipina accompanies archival footage of the Philippines being bombed during World War 2, half a century later. The same tune accompanies cities of Metro Manila under construction during Duterte's Build! Build! Build! Infrastructure Program.
