“ My grandma and I sit together in the kitchen and I assist her in making plum dumplings. In other words, I peel the potatoes and she does the rest. Part of this cerenomy are my grandma's stories, stories from the past, from her old home, Timisoara. I travel to her roots, search for traces in Romania to find out more about the country, culture and history of the Banat Swabians. A German minority that lived for centuries in what is now Romania and migrated back during Ceausescu's socialist dictatorship.“
