Sindoor (1991)

Rosy is a film heroine with dark past. She was forced into prostitution by her aunt and then she landed in the Tollygunge film industry. She was exploited by Mr. Barun, a director. She develops feelings for Amit, a hotel singer. But, Barun doesn't like this. Amit also shares his past with Rosy. He was married to a girl Sharmistha in his childhood but he had lost her and was searching her. It's revealed that Rosy is actually Sharmistha. But she doesn't want to ruin Amit's life with her presence. Barun kidnaps Rosy but Amit inevitably saves her and they are happily united.
